Visit to Chicago History Museum
This is the last week in Chicago, and Monday went to Chicago History Museum. The place shown different periods about Chicago, the most popular is "The Haymarket Affair" with a Big Fire in the city by political ideas.
This is a picture I take the model of "The Great Chicago Fire" of 1871.
Another topic I found interesting is "Gangland Chicago"
The museum said that during the 1920s, Chicago gained a reputation as the organized crime capital of America. first I read about the topic. Chicago is called gangland because Al Capone was a traffiquer with alcohol. At that time, the alcohol was prohibited for the Government, but the manufacture of alcohol was lucrative.
Chicago had became in a city of violence y blood for the gangsters, the city of crime. This image of Chicago, allowed the creation of comic, news, and the legend of Al Capone and The Untouchables.
The Untouchables was led by Eliot Ness
